Growing up on the East Coast in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts I traveled through most of the states on the Eastern Seaboard. Wanting to experience more of the country I relocated to California.
After a very successful career in the hi-tech industry in a variety of positions from computer operator to Regional Customer Service Director for West Coast Operations, I left this field to enter into Real Estate.
After spending about 1 year at a national franchise office in the area I saw a desperate need for customer service and fresh ideas in the Real Estate business.
To that end, I started the areas first Full Service Discount Commission Real Estate office. At that time noone was offering discounted commissions, it was unheard of and frowned upon by other Realtors.
After pulling through the recession of the early 1990's the Discount Commission idea was catching on as I noticed other Real Estate offices were discounting their commissions as well. Always the entrepreneur I started offering Flat Fees in the late 90's. Today Dalton Real Estate is still growing with almost a dozen agents. We are a small privately owned corporation. Attention to detail and customer satisfaction are our number one priorities.
